My Students

My students are creative and resourceful! I would like to provide them with all of the tools necessary for success at school. One way we can do that is to provide items that help them get and remain organized!

I went back to school in my early 40's to finally realize my dream of being a teacher.

It is my greatest hope that my students leave my classroom believing in their own abilities and a little more independent! We talk about having grit, making progress, and giving one another grace.

My students attend a Title 1 school and our school motto is

Be Responsible, Do Your Best, and Always Remember to Help the Rest!

My classroom motto is Practice Makes Progress!

My Project

I am requesting 18 seat sacks to organize and house my students' materials. Organization is an important part of a student's success in the classroom and in life. In order for my students to be organized and have plenty of time for learning time, I'd like to provide them with seat sacks. As a 2nd year teacher, I have limited resources. These seat sacks would be a great tool in giving them a safe place to keep their materials. Rather than losing time during instruction to scramble to retrieve materials for the lesson, students will be able to stay engaged and focused. The students in my classroom would benefit very much from having seat sacks to keep them ready at all times!
