Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This is my first year teaching in a classroom. I will be teaching a PSI self contained special education classroom at the elementary level. I am so excited to meet and work with all of my students and I am grateful for such of a supportive team.
I am determined to do everything that I can to help my students succeed.
I want to invest my time in learning what their interests/ hobbies are, what motivates them, and anything I can use to help drive my students towards success.
My Project
The use of my materials will fulfill the basic needs in the classroom. From organizers, whiteboard materials, task boxes for individual work, social and emotional learning materials, to reading materials to help my learners grow in literacy. I want to start the school year with a set up already in place for a successful year for my students. I have also included a few items to assist with therapy.
