My Project

My project will provide my students with the materials that are necessary for being successful in the classroom on a daily basis. About 90% of my students are low-income, and their families cannot afford school supplies for their students. My students are very hard workers and are eager to learn whatever they can. They work extremely hard every day to ensure they stay on task and follow the rules and procedures set forth. They are inquisitive and they love to share stories about their lives.

My students need folders, pencils, dry-erase markers, crayons, erasers, pencil cases, and post-it notes for the classroom to work on activities, classroom work, centers, math, and reading groups.

The pencil cases will assist with keeping up with their supplies such as pencils, crayons, scissors, and glue. It is imperative for students to have these items to be productive and perform the daily tasks that they are given.
