We have an amazing first grade class this year! And some of my kids are looping from kindergarten last year. These little friends work and play hard in our class. We have a smaller class size for our school, normally we are at 32 students per class, but this year we are starting lower than 25 friends in our class. We are in small charter school in the middle of a small, rural town. We are an AVID, college-driven school.
My students will use these much-needed bookcases to organize our books in our classroom library. These bookcases will promote an environment of excited readers and will allow them to recommend and share books with each other, as well as their families.
These bookcases will help with organization in our classroom.
I believe in creating lifelong readers is an important part of education. I want to promote a passion for reading. An organized library will help students gain an interest in reading, as well as grow in their understanding of keeping our classroom looking neat and clean. We are excited for the new additions to our classroom!
