This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My student thrive in a structured, organized environment. Basic necessities that allow us to have a cohesive classroom plays a large role in student success. Pencils and erasers are a key component in math class and materials that we are always in need of. With the use of pencils also brings in the need for pencil erasers. All student want to learn in a clean classroom with exciting materials that will last throughout the day.
By contributing to my project you are allowing us to have a student centered math class where the students are able to be in charge of their learning.
Having materials that allow me, as the teacher to teach from anywhere in the room allows me to ensure student success at all times. The standing desk and tablet will allow me to be able to move around the room and connect with students while still engaged in the lesson.
It is important that I have an engaging classroom and whiteboards are something that we consistently use. Having dry eraser markers for the students to use makes this activity possible. Laminating pouches allows us to keep our materials nice and ready to use for the next class. Time is always important, having a clock allows us all to stay on track and know how much time is left in class.
