This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Thank you for reading about our classroom project. Our students are driven, focused and very hard working. All students take on the challenge of taking four math courses during their high school years. Some students take on the challenge of taking two math classes at once and giving up an elective course. As the High School Statistics, AP Statistic and Integrated Math 2 teacher, I strive to provide a real life application of math skills through activities, small projects and any opportunity that allows me to incorporate real life.

Please help my students have a class printer so that when they conduct their statistical studies they may document their experiences through photos.

Help me provide more white boards so that we can have collaboration among teams and allow students an opportunity to gather around the classroom and not always be confined to their desk. We also ask that you please help us add more comfortable chairs to our classroom. Students like to hangout in our classroom before school, during lunch and after school and having comfortable seats just makes for a more comfortable learning environment.

Help me provide the best learning experiences for all my students. Thank you in advance for reading about our project and for making a contribution to our learning.
