This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am a dedicated early childhood educator that always strives for the best learning experience for my early childhood leaders. I know that they all can be successful learners if provided the proper learning tools and supports within my classroom. Technology is key when preparing my lessons to support all the needs of my young learners. As I plan my daily lessons it is imperative that I think about enrichment and differentiated instruction. By providing a Macbook in my classroom, my students will have the opportunity to learn through engaging interactive teaching slides for our new reading and writing curriculum. I will be able to track my student data from teacher created Excel spreadsheets made on my new Macbook computer. This will help me group my students based on students' needs. Making a difference in my students lives is watching them grow and learn everyday and getting them prepared to move on to the next grade level.

However to fully meet my students needs it is essential to have a new laptop for planning purposes.

When an older computer constantly needs to be updated it impacts the educational experience I want to provide for my young learners. There is specific coursework and professional development opportunities to help me grow as an educator.

A new laptop will be a game changer for ultimately the success of my students. It will give and provide me with the opportunity to attend online trainings outside of the school setting and will help me grow even more as an educator.

By investigating in my professional development , you are investing in the future of my young leaders. I am able to plan accordingly lesson slides that are engaging, creative, and interactive which meets my students goals.
