Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With teaching at an AIS/Title 1 school, majority of my 8th grade students come from low-income households, and will come into the new school year without school supplies for various reasons.

We know that technology has became the new norm for students, however, it is important for me to get students up and moving with different and engaging hands-on projects.

With supplies like construction paper, markers, crayons, etc. It opens up a lot of opportunities for students to do projects outside of technology, and to enjoy, and develop various skills of learning.
