My Students
My students are very special first graders in a high-needs area of a borough in New York City. Most of my students are English Language Learners or children with special needs eager to learn and discover. Each student is unique in his or her own way and deserves to have the best educational experience possible. All of my students receive free or reduced-price lunch.
Unfortunately, my classroom does not always have the supplies we need.
Every donation makes a difference in my students' lives. I look forward to creating projects that will make our physical and virtual classroom a joyful learning environment. Thank you!
My Project
Students are using their touch screen devices to learn from home and school. I have had multiple students share how difficult it is to write on the virtual platforms, so I want to provide them with a stylus pen to help them answer their exit tickets and complete other assignments! It will help streamline the process of them using their devices, and instead of using the mousepad to write answers, this will be a beneficial tool since all their work produced is through their devices or other virtual means. Giving scholars their own stylus will help them not to worry about their work not being legible due to the nature of virtual learning. The hole punch will help make holes on paper; so scholars can organize their work in a binder when they are at school.
