My Students

My classroom of kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade students are fun, energetic, and full of life for learning. They have diverse special needs that make each of their learning styles and personalities differ. Since we are in a Title I school and many of my students are from low-income families. They have minimal access to necessary tools for development in their community. It is vital that they have access and the opportunity as all students should to high-quality and engaging learning items in the classroom.

My Project

My students love to learn with hands-on materials and visuals and love to display their learning on our classroom walls. We will use these items to display their work and to assist with engaging them with math and reading with hands-on materials.

Some of the lessons that we will use these supplies for include workstations, reading, math, and tasks with hands-on materials and items that can be re-usable.

Students will need to have a storage box to hold their materials, and some work materials will be laminated to have continual use for all students. Students will use pocket folders to store their work in and the color dots will be markers for stations.

We often need donations of these items throughout the school year, so it's helpful to have a good stockpile on hand!
