it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are in kindergarten and first grade. They are from low income households and a majority of our students are on free or reduced price lunch. While our students face many challenges, they always come to school ready to learn! I want all of my students to be excited about coming to school and learning regardless of the challenges they face at home. Every child deserves to come to school where they feel comfortable, happy and engaged in the learning process!
My Project
My students are in desperate need of school supplies. As a teacher, I am having to provide my students with all the supplies they need. We need markers, pencils, crayons, and glue sticks. The chart paper can help with modeled writing and be used for graphing, poems and more! Staples are much needed for writing projects and our constantly changing bulletin boards.
Most of these supplies are items my students need to use daily, and without them, we are unable to learn efficiently.
In our classroom, we do a lot of hands-on activities that involve all of these school supplies.
We use glue sticks, markers, and pencils every day in my classroom for a variety of activities.
Supplying these school supplies will help tremendously help our class and have my students be more creative!
