My students walk into school eager to start each and every day, we start our days by spending fifteen minutes to gain focus, support students who need encouragement, and make sure we are all ready to learn from each other. Our school is K-5 and has a diverse group of students. We have endured so much this past year and so much has changed. Kids have shown their resilience and learned to be flexible and adapt, I would like to create a classroom environment that encourages their new flexible nature.
Our class is full of bright minds with great ideas waiting to be shared with the world.
We work on multiple projects throughout the year to share with our school and our community. Now that we are starting to return to in person education I want to help provide an mazing educational experience. My goal is to leave all of my students with a life long passion for learning. If my students are excited to be in the classroom, meaningful learning will be more obtainable.
My Project
While students were remote learning I could help but notice the strange camera angles. Some students chose to stay in bed, others would lay on the floor, some chose a traditional desk, but the differences were impossible to ignore. They proved they love to add their own style, comfort, and flair to their work space.
Now that we are returning to the classroom I would like to continue giving my students the option to learn in what ever style they think suits them.
By providing multiple seating options students will be eager to give them all a try and find what comforts them the most and promotes learning and intrigue best.
