My Students
Our cheerleaders joined this program not only to have fun but to become exceptional athletes. We need stunt stands and tumbling aides. Because competitive cheer is becoming such a popular sort amongst middle schools nationwide, we’d like to push our cheerleaders to the Next level.
Our cheerleaders not only cheer; they are LEADERS!
They are respectable, and well-rounded youth with the Highest GPA's of the school. They also train endlessly to perform and compete in district cheer competition, support the other school athletics organizations, and represent their school with pride in the community. We are proud to have 36 cheerleaders for the 2019-20 season and are excited for the upcoming year. Our school has a HIGH percentage of students from low-income families. The Title I government funds received solely focus on the academic success of our students; however, many of our students have talents that we, the staff, would like to showcase.
My Project
Our team has the framework of cheer skills now, but now it's time to polish up our cheer technique.
These Kinetic bands will allow my cheerleaders to build their flexibility and leg speed for cheer jumps.
The Stunt straps will help build flexibility for body positions being executed in cheer stunts. The ankle straps will train the cheerleaders to tumble with legs and feet together, ultimately allowing them to equally distribute weight for back handspring and tucks.
These items will ensure our success in perfecting our cheer technique.
Our middle school cheer team will finally achieve the ultimate goal, #1 Ranked Cheer Squad in GA!
