This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are back on campus for the Spring semester, and everything needs to be restocked to make learning more productive. Every school year we run out of basic school supplies that students require to make their learning more productive. I want my students not to worry about school supplies this year. I want them to have all the basic school supplies that they will need throughout the school year.

Since we are going back to lecture and note-taking style of learning once again, my students need basic things to take notes and complete projects at home, such as highlighters, colored pencils, and crayons.

Help me help my students start the school year on the right path by giving them all the tools they will need to have a great school year. Let's take some of the worries of expenses away from parents and children.

We are a Title I, Performance Improvement school with 100% participation in the free lunch program. Many parents work two jobs and are struggling to support the family. Though their environment may not be conducive to learning, my students have an insatiable love of learning! I know that if we provide them with the right support, resources, and opportunities, they will become successful.
