Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
At The Studio, our new and innovative learning program, we're reimagining how education can look when student autonomy, creativity, and collaboration are at the center. As we build this program from the ground up, we are in need of essential creative materials—such as butcher paper, paint, and copy paper—to support our students’ hands-on learning experiences. These supplies will allow our learners to engage in meaningful, project-based activities like visual storytelling, group presentations, and interactive displays that bring their ideas to life.
These materials will also play a key role in helping us transform our physical space into one that reflects the energy, voice, and vision of our students.
Since The Studio is not only a new program but one with the potential to grow and serve more students, we see this as an opportunity to lay the foundation for a vibrant, student-centered environment. Each display, mural, and collaborative project created with these supplies is a step toward making the space truly theirs—fostering a sense of ownership, pride, and belonging. Your support would help us provide the tools that empower students to express themselves, work together, and shape their learning journey in this exciting new model of education.
