Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our classroom is full of students that have many different interests and levels of development. It is important for us to have a variety of things that will captues their interest that they can explore with. I have chosen some things that I know my students are currently interested in and would love to play with and keep them engaged. I sit with my students while they play with the items and really verbalize everything that we see and touch to build and expand their language skills.

I have some new really young students that love magnetic toys and the alphabet.

We are also are learning about insects and some items will inspire them to build neat creatures that could live in the insect world.

I thank you ahead of time for donating to our classroom. Everything that we receive will be used daily and make the day of learning that the students spend with me that much more fun and condusive to building skills they will carry with them in their educational journey.
