My Project
Students with Autism can benefit from building with letter and number Lego Duplo blocks because these materials combine hands-on learning with visual and tactile stimulation, which supports their cognitive and sensory needs.
The colorful, oversized blocks are easy to manipulate, encouraging fine motor development and hand-eye coordination.
Integrating letters and numbers into play helps reinforce letter and number recognition in an engaging environment. Furthermore, the open-ended nature of Lego play can enhance social interaction and cooperative play when used in group settings, supporting social communication goals.
The color sorting kit will also increase fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
