This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our music classroom is a haven for fun, entertaining learning for all of our students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The majority of our students come from low-income, immigrant families. They have very little, including enough food to feed their families. However, every student at our school brings with them a special light.
Through music, we provide an outlet for students to express themselves as they are.
We provide a space where students feel safe to have fun and show their true personalities.
My Project
In order to bring weekly news reports to our school community, our broadcasting team is in need of an upgrade. Our students are working hard each day to develop their English language skills. Additionally, we are building confident speakers and critical thinkers.
From the PA system to LIVE NEWS, our students are ready to bring it to you!
Through virtual learning, we shared the school news via pre-recorded videos. Once we returned to the building students were excited to share the news in person with our school community!
In order to upgrade our broadcast, we are in need of lighting and wireless microphones so our students can be seen and heard! These students have so much they want to share! Please help our students share their voice!
