This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As a special education teacher in a low socioeconomic Title I school, all the students qualify for free breakfast and lunch. My class consists of 13 students. My kids are faced with many challenges in and outside the classroom. They are academically one to two years below grade level. Many of my students come from a single parent home. Although my kids have varying disabilities, (Learning Disabled, Autism, Emotional Disturbed, and Mentally Handicapped). They are eager to learn and succeed. I want to provide a atmosphere that is safe, and welcoming. Help me engage and inspire my students by becoming a partner in their learning.

My Project

My class is in need of a file cabinet that electronics can be kept for safe keeping, one kindle cover and a binder shelf where all students binders are kept. Students with special needs require a classroom that is organized with supplies located in a central area.

Students require one area where all their lessons, tasks and books are stored.

Each student has a binder that holds their individualized lessons and activity tasks. Having a binder shelf will keep binders organized within one area for easy access .

We are in need of a file cabinet with a lock that tablets, listening center and headsets can be stored at the end of the day.
