To actively engage our students in community service, we aim to acquire sweatshirts and sublimation heat transfer paper to use with our future printer and laser engraver, our students will have the capability to not only raise awareness of the growing homeless population in our neighborhood, but it will also raise funds to help donate clothing, food, school supplies, etc. to families in need. There are multiple shelters within walking distance from our school and some of our students themselves are homeless.
Bring awareness to the homeless population in our community is vital if we are going to make a difference, by fundraising with items that have empowering messages such as "You Matter: Let's Build a Better Tomorrow Together", Believe in Yourself: You're Stronger Than You Know" and "Love and Light: Shine Bright, Always".
These messages can be put on anything but for the Homeless not Hopeless: Let's Make a Difference Together campaign we will be rasing funds with the crew neck sweatshirts.
This project fosters creativity, community outreach, and entrepreneurship among our students while empowering students to make a positive impact by addressing issues within our community.
