Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My 32 students were are amazing kids who have overcome many obstacles. My entire class of was below reading level at the beginning of the year. Now my students are excelling in class and loving learning during to bringing in fun high interest books and including fun STEAM activities. Their faces light up when they complete a STEAM task. Their love of learning has boosted their math, writing, science and social studies grades as well. Thank you for your consideration.
My Project
I am hoping to bring in new STEAM projects and technology into my classroom because my students are motivated to learn by completing STEAM projects. They develop a love of learning and feel proud of their successes when completing STEAM tasks. We will build animals with clay and cubes and research them using technology. Then we will publish our reports using technology and writing.We will create structures from the magnets and measure them as as we learn about magnets. We will use the laptop for our research projects and to type up our reports. Thank you again for your consideration.
