Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These books will enhance my classroom library and facilitate compassionate conversations during class read- alouds. A picture book is an essential tool to use in the classroom to help students see themselves in meaningful and powerful characters. In my classroom I promote an environment of social emotional learning, self care, and compassion. The books I have chosen all promote and continue to pursue that purpose.
