My students need ten protective covers in order to use the iPad minis that were purchased by a parent for use in my Architecture and Engineering classes.
This project expired on September 18, 2014.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
I want my students to explore and examine their surroundings and still be able to use the technology available to them.
My students are 9th - 12th graders in a metro area high school.
The school is only five years old, and my program is only in its second year. Students are from all ranges on the economic scale, with the majority being middle class. My students are connected to technology through their individual devices so I want to be able to connect with them through where they are in their educational setting.
Since being gifted with the iPad minis, I have been able to find numerous free resources for the students. The problem is that I have no cases, and it makes both me and the students nervous when they take the iPad minis outside the classroom. I want them to feel comfortable with the technology and to use it outside the classroom.
Students will be able to examine the world around them through the scope of Engineering and Architecture while staying connected through the technology that we have available.
I would feel safe in allowing students to check out the iPads for projects and activities with these protective covers.
