My Students

I have 20 of the most amazing fourth graders in my classroom! They are very excited and engaged in their learning. My students also vary in their math abilities and levels. They are very inquisitive about the world around them and motivated to learn!

My school is Title I that serves about 500 students, with most of the students on a free or reduced lunch because they come from low economic homes.

Students would be able to benefit for years to come!

My Project

I'm looking to raise money to start "STEM-Fridays" in my classroom. These hands-on STEM activities will accompany our outdoor learning we do every week. Building our students ability to think, and really chew on problems until they solve them, will create game changers across any industry our students choose to pursue. I've chosen several different types of activities so every student, with their varying gifts and interests, can find something that motivates them. The Microscope, Snap Circuits, Bloxels, Coding Robot, and Gravity Marble Maze will reinforce many of the topics covered in math and science and will allow them to develop transferable skills for years to come.
