My Students

This year I have a very diverse classroom with students on all academic levels. They also have a lot of different interests and needs.

My students are very honest and will tell me exactly what they think of each activity.

My Project

The items that I chose will allow students to have their own supplies and not have to share as much like we have been. Items like a class set of calculators, dry erase supplies, and books.

Also, my class is in need of hands on materials like timers, flash cards, and display items.

Our focus right now in math is to use visuals and hands on to dig deep and really understand concepts and not just algorithms. In language arts our focus working independently. My students have seem to have been spoon-fed. I need to prepare them for middle school by focusing on students utilizing tools that are available to them.
