Students Need Time For Kids Magazines!

My students need subscriptions to Time for Kids magazines. Also we must learn in a clean environment. We need wipes, paper towels and spray. Candies are rewards.

My Students

Science and social studies are important areas in the curriculum that captures the imagination of students. Therefore the Time For Kids magazines are important. We must learn in a clean classroom. Wipes, paper towels, spray, are needed for this. A piece of candy is a reward for completing work.

The students that attend my school are energetic and eager to learn.

The kids come mostly from Title One backgrounds where every student is provided a school breakfast and a school lunch. We are a large urban inner city school serving over 400 students in grades K-8.

My Project

Time For Kids magazines are a leading resource in science and social studies education. These magazines are a weekly addition for each student and also gives them a real magazine to take home and keep. The School District and our teaching teams encourages us to use this resource. Students learn about current events like the Nobel Prize, famous world figures like POTUS, Landmarks, Robotic Competitions and much more.

Time for Kids magazines is a rich supplement to both the science and social studies curriculum.

Often we can not send text books home for assignments. Using Time for Kids Magazines gives students an opportunity to have a lesson in the classroom and then keep the publication so they can have a meaningful assignment at home. The great part of Time For Kids is it gives the student something to keep.
