Students Need Power-Surge Cords for Piano Keyboards

My students need power-strips and surge protectors for music piano keyboards.

My Students

Students are given the opportunity to explore self-expression through lessons in music using piano keyboards. The school has piano keyboards with plug-in cords. Unfortunately, our school does not have power-surge strips to plug into the wall outlet. The students need the power strips to play the keyboards.

The students are in grades kindergarten through eighth grade.

Many of the students are diverse learners from a variety of environments. Most of the students are eligible for free lunch are at the low-income level. They have limited opportunities to explore music outside the after-school music club in the school.

My Project

The students are in grades kindergarten through eighth grade. Many of the students do not get the opportunity to explore music. Students are very excited about learning how to play the piano keyboard. Our school has many students who desire to play instruments, They now have a music room and can practice their musical gift. The power-surge cord will be used to help the piano keyboards work.

The project will have a good impact on those students who do not have a piano at home.

The students will be free to explore music appreciation through piano on the keyboard, and use their skills to create songs and music . Students will be given the opportunity to explore and enjoy a variety of music. The project will also build self-confidence and self-esteem. Students will learn to see music in a new way as they explore making music on the keyboard and demonstrate what they have learned in a talent show.
