Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These books will provide my students with the opportunity to see themselves reflected in the stories they read, while also helping them develop resilience and empathy. Many of my students come from diverse backgrounds and are English language learners.

When students have access to books that genuinely interest them, they are more motivated to read, and the more they read, the more we see growth across all academic areas.

The goal of this project is to offer a wide selection of diverse books for independent reading and to inspire a lifelong love of reading in every student.
