Students Need Basic Supplies and Incentives!

My students need pencils, earsers, markers, tissues, and candy incentives.

My Students

My students are eager to learn but struggle with basic reading and writing and math skills.

Our school is a large urban inner city neighborhood school.

Our students need to achieve reading skills now to ensure future success in the higher grades. My students are very energetic and they want to learn. The kids all come from Title I backgrounds.

My Project

The pencils will be used for all writing, math, social studies, nutrition, and science lessons. Many kids also need to take a pencil home for their homework because they need to. Erasure toppers save all of the usable pencils. instead of throwing them away they get a second and third life. Candy will be used as motivation and incentives. Tissues will be used for our constant runny noses. And the markers will bring our lessons to a more artistic level.

These donations will improve the classroom in so many ways.

Students will know that supplies like pencils, markers, and tissues are available to them will increase both their self esteem and feeling important.
