Students Need Basic Medical Needs Met

Help me give my students a healthier environment! Students miss instruction when they have to go to the nurse for a cold, a Bandaid, an ice pack, or a maxi pad!

My Project

For many of my students, school is the only place where their basic needs are met. Many female students only have access to maxi pads in school. Students get injured at home and wait until they are at school to get help. Students want to stop the spread of germs but need good tissues and hand sanitizer to help them do so.

Having these supplies in my classroom means a student doesn't lose instructional time going to the nurse!

Our building is huge, and a visit to the nurse means at least 10 minutes out of class, which is 25% of class time!
