Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Dear Donors,
Imagine a classroom buzzing with curiosity and engagement, where students are fully present and connected to the lesson, not their devices.
That's the learning environment I strive to create every day for my amazing students.
However, like many classrooms today, we face the persistent challenge of cell phone distractions. While technology can be a powerful learning tool, the constant temptation of notifications and social media often pulls students' attention away from valuable instruction and discussions. This not only hinders their individual learning but also disrupts the flow of our classroom community.
To foster a more focused and engaged learning environment, I'm requesting durable cell phone pocket pouches. These simple yet effective tools will provide a designated "parking spot" for phones during instructional time. By having a visual and physical cue to store their devices, students can more easily disconnect from the digital world and fully immerse themselves in learning.
These pouches will be implemented in a way that respects student responsibility while promoting a culture of focus. We will discuss the importance of minimizing distractions and the benefits of being present in the moment. The pouches will be easily accessible for students to retrieve their phones at appropriate times, such as during breaks or at the end of the day.
By contributing to this project, you'll be directly impacting my students' ability to concentrate, participate actively, and ultimately achieve their full academic potential.
