Students Need a Rug That Has Enough Space for Everyone!

My Project
I have a classroom of 22 students, and they all sit on the rug for circle time and whole group instruction multiple times a day. Our current rug is small and causes students to sit close to each other, and it is very distracting for them.
I believe a larger carpet would allow my students to spread out would have a noticeable and material impact on their ability to focus and pay attention during whole group learning.
Students deserve to feel like their personal space is respected. Right now, they are knee to knee, and a lot of peer to peer conflict happens as a result.
If they had their own space and were not dealing with students being so close to them, they would be able to pay attention and retain more information.
