My Project

Many of my students still struggle with foundational math skills and are in need of additional math resources that will allow them to process math concepts through hands-on activities and art. Through collaborative exploration, using manipulatives and art resources, my students will be able to interact with one another in small groups as they explore, discover, create, and share new mathematical concepts. By integrating our Maker Space and math tools, the children will create art pieces that demonstrate their understanding of math concepts and how they relate to the real world.
