Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students at my school have so little and I want to give them so much more. All of the students here come from homes below the poverty line, and I want them to have the chance to experience something that can influence their lives.

Our kids are so special that even without the resources, they still work just as hard or harder to try and rise to the occasion.

I love the fact that our kids already know the odds are stacked against them, but they face adversity head-on!

My Project

As our students return full time to school this coming September, we will like to make sure that they can also have a space so that they can relax while they are at school.

There is no better way for kids to enjoy school than having their own space where they can relax and make a cup of hot cocoa or coffee, warm up some food in a cafe like atmosphere.

This unique experience will give the students a place to enjoy while they have downtime during the day or afterschool. Making a space that is comfy to call their own would be extremely helpful in terms of keeping kids in schools longer.

A donation to this project will allow my students to be able to compete with students of a different demographic.
