Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

It's a plane or it's a bird, or it's a cloud. Whatever it is, it starts by opening a book and use your own imagination to take you to places.

The students from the school live in the poverty which is even hard for their family to get books, resources for them to improve their reading skills.

In the classroom, you would never have enough books. It is all resources and knowledge to inspire them to read.

My Project

Learning environment can change, help, and shape someone. These books are the foundation to build some of these student's learning needs. So, it is important as a facilitator to provide and cater to their needs. I have request books and audio books to give the students variety of sources and ways of reading.

This project is really important to me.

This is my first year teaching in a classroom, I do not have the big selection source of books for the students. I need your help to make this library happen!
