This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My kindergartens are English Language Learns. They are curious and come to school excited to learn. Some of my students are learning to read, write, and count, while some of their classmates are learning to imitate sounds or hold a pencil. Our group loves to play learning games, dance and play outdoors.
My Project
The materials requested for my students will be used for daily language art centers. During daily language art centers, students work independently or in small groups to enhance their learning in reading and writing. The Beginning Sounds Phonemic Awareness Box will help students learn an object's beginning sounds. The board game Pop Learn Letters Numbers Game will help students with letter recognition, and if the game is flipped, students can play a game of counting. The Double-Sided Magnetic Letter Tiles and I Can Build Simple Words help students build words to help them write. Lastly, the Phonemic Awareness Instant Learning Centers will be used for my students who need extra support blending sounds to read words.
