My Project
My students are not only getting back into school after COVID-19 but they also missed a quarter of school due to the Lahaina Wildfires. These fires left many of my students displaced and in need of comfort and a sense of place.
The flag and ukuleles will connect students with their culture and give them a sense of place.
The snacks will provide comfort to those who are displaced from their homes. Calculators will help in math class to have nice new ways to calculate.
My students will be extremely grateful for these items to better their school experience.
