My Project
This is a student-led initiative where students will organize pop-up help desks during lunch or after school. These stations will offer peer tutoring, literacy mentoring, motivational support, and free school supplies to anyone who needs them. Student volunteers will run the stations, create promotional materials, and track participation to help foster a supportive, connected school community.
This project serves the entire school community by providing students with academic support, emotional encouragement, and essential supplies.
We are requesting colored pencils, notebooks, markers, glue, dry erase lapboards, an electric pencil sharpener, scissors, folders, highlighters, and a presentation remote with batteries to create a mobile resource kit. These materials will help students with homework, create visual aids, write notes of encouragement, engage in creative problem-solving, and provide school supplies to those in need. They will also be used to keep the stations organized and efficient, enabling student leaders to run the initiative smoothly while providing resources to their peers.
This is the second in the series, so there can be multiple stations throughout the school with the same supplies.
