Help me give my students chair pockets, would alleviate some of my concerns as I envision ways to make my classroom as safe as possible for my little kindergarten.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Having chair pockets in my classroom would be extremely beneficial to my students. Not only would chair pockets help my little learners develop organizational skills because they would each have a special place for supplies, but it would also allow them to easily access whichever materials we may need next in a more seamless manner. Transitions can be overwhelming to students, especially at this age, and chair pockets would decrease some of the disruption to our flow and routines that multiple transitions can create. Kindergarten is truly a special world of its own!
