This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help my general biology classes start to see and experience Biology like a real scientist, eliminating the need for tons of PowerPoint and continuous lectures and worksheets. Students will be able to explore the idea of the theory of evolution through a lab, and then I can add information, versus the opposite which is what I am stuck with without real experiences in the classroom. The microscope will allow me to project things through our newline screen so that I can make sure all students can see clearly the microscopic things we talk about. The modeling kits will help students process the harder concepts and make connections that are crucial to see.

By helping with these very large, budgeted items you will bring access to biology on a whole new level.
