This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Creating access to more advanced design methods to create more creative and ambitious STEM projects to learn from is what our robotics program continuously tries to provide to our students. As students' projects get more ambitious, we need more specific equipment in their projects. This mechanical hardware will allow them to build a more advanced engineered design. We want to provide more mechanical hardware like specialized wheels that will be used in many subsystems in our competitive robot. These wheels will also teach our students about material selection, traction, and elasticity. Allowing our students to design and utilized the best solution to compete with.

We have more and more students interested in our engineering program.

They all have a strong interest in learning and building competitive and advanced robots. With our students working as a team, meeting challenges creatively and collaboratively, all while using science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) related skills. It is an exciting time for our competitive robotics engineering program.
