My Students
My students are great kids and are ready to take on new challenges. They have learned so much in recent years, and we are ready to explore environmental science projects in a hands-on way. My students love researching science projects in an in-depth way. They love finding background information for their projects and are only limited by their access to technology. They are eager students that love science and math and getting more information about what they are working on. The excitement they bring to class, keeps me going.
My Project
My students will use this Dell computer laptop to look up information on their environmental science projects. This will be a hands-on way to teach about green projects that serve to better the environment. My students will be researching green technologies. We will then make science experiments from the information and data we find on the internet. The project will directly tie into a final project related to Earth Day. Students will document their work and use the computer to make a blog about their findings. The goal of this project is to bring technology to the forefront and to help students get access to the internet without leaving the room.
