My Project

Having personal women's hygiene products available for high school and junior high students is crucial for several reasons.

Access to menstrual products directly impacts attendance and academic engagement; without them, many students miss school or are distracted in class, which can hinder their educational progress.

Studies show that around 1 in 4 teens in the U.S. have missed class due to lack of access to these products.

Providing these essentials helps students remain focused, participate fully, and maintain their dignity and confidence, reducing feelings of shame or anxiety associated with managing periods at school.

Additionally, ensuring access to hygiene products supports students' physical health by promoting proper menstrual hygiene, which helps prevent infections and discomfort. Making these products readily available also helps normalize menstruation, reduces stigma, and fosters a more inclusive, supportive school environment.
