My Students
Students here represent a wide variety of cultures, ethnic groups, orientations, religions, and genders. The entire campus has over 600 students from various neighborhoods.
Distance learning is difficult for many students and staff, and paying attention with busy family members and such makes it even more difficult.
Our middle school has many academic programs to choose from that helps students with academic, leadership, and growth mindset skills. Students are continuously looking for ways to break away from the norms, to learn and experience new things.
What I love most about offering students these resources is to see how motivated they are to learn and complete projects.
My Project
So many of us are working and learning from home, but they're not alone! Busy families and little ones are running around, families having conversations, and noisy neighborhoods keep kids from hearing the instruction they need during Distance Learning. Help me, help students have some peace of mind and have a chance to hear what their instructors are doing. Help students communicate with each other and with their teachers. Help take this one small piece of frustration away from students, when they're piling up for all of them. This school year is going to be difficult enough without this added frustration.
