My Project

My middle school students are the best. They are special needs students that sometimes just need a little something different or special to help them be more successful in school. Having alternative seating and weighted lap pads will support their learning and social-emotional health. It also helps with Focus and processing information. Often times student that has challenges use flex seating to deescalate when they are having a sensory overload. Having the alternative gives them more of an opportunity to stay in the class and continue learning with their peers.
