Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Your donation provides engaging opportunities to teach digital literacy, and citizenship. We will start by producing morning announcements and grow to make short video segments to be utilized in STEM, ESOL, and core subject areas.

The daily morning broadcast plays a vital role in the life of our school community.

With our student-centered news broadcast, students, teachers, families, and other members of our community receive daily updates on upcoming school events, along with a variety of educational video segments.

I am proposing to establish a fully equipped broadcasting studio within the school premises, enabling students to create and broadcast daily live morning announcements. This project will empower students with valuable skills in public speaking, scriptwriting, and video production. Students involved in the broadcasting team will develop leadership and teamwork abilities as they collaborate to create meaningful content.

Live morning announcements will foster a sense of community within the school and community, as students share important updates and celebrate achievements. Parents will stay up-to-date on the latest school news and updates.

The essential equipment needed for my students includes wireless microphones, a tripod, and a green screen.

I firmly believe that this project will not only enhance the educational experience of our students but also provide them with essential life skills that will benefit them in their future endeavors.
