My Project
A favorite unit in our grade level is Earth’s Features. This unit includes learning about the rock cycle, the specific types of rocks and minerals along with properties and ways to identify each. Is there a better way to learn about this besides a hands-on activity to bring it to life? NO!
This projects allows each student to mine for minerals where they will also apply academic language and learning standards at the same time.
What was once a field trip is no longer available, so we will bring it to the classroom!
