My students need picture books and interactive resources to gain the full knowledge of science in first grade. If we allow them to explore they will truly discover.

My Students
Science is not to obtain new facts as it is to discover new ways of thinking about them and forming your own opinion. By supplying my students with new hands on interactive resources and picture books for their standards, I am giving them the ability to succeed and discover by forming their own opinions.
My students are very respectful and kind children that want to constantly learn.
The students look forward to coming to school everyday to explore and succeed. For some students, this is the best place for them to be; here they are taught, cared for, and respected every minute of the day. Our school is reaching 50 years old next year and within each classroom there are 15-20 eager students ready learn and discover everything that is placed in front of them. Please help me create the best learning environment for them by donating these picture books and interactive resources that they are going to absolutely love.
My Project
With these interactive resources, my students will be allowed to have hands on experiences for each unit of science by tying it back to real world situations. The picture books are a great way to engage the students, in order for them to discover more about the subject. Science allows students to think and question, please help by donating these materials so they can be true scientists.
I am the science leader for my school and I see how this subject is being neglected and the children are suffering.
As a teacher my job is to give them every opportunity to learn and discover; having the picture books and interactive resources will give them the materials they need. With my teaching and the new materials asked for, these students will have every opportunity to be the best "scientist" they can be.
