My Project
Our students after they turn 18, work on pre-vocational tasks and work in our school cafe on a weekly basis so we need shredders, brooms and dustpans, and Swiffer refills to learn pre-work skills. Our students stay in our school until age 22 if their families agree to it. Our students have many different disabilities and all work together in one setting. Students in our transition program work on different work skills with guidance from our Special Education team.
Students are involved in preparing for their future on a daily basis.
Students apply for transition services from The State of Pennsylvania office of Vocational services.
