Technology is a powerful tool with the ability to engage students in the learning process. My students are lucky to be provided with a Chromebook to use in the classroom. However, from normal wear-and-tear, our classroom set of headphones is deminishing.
Students listen to audiobooks, and some have tests read out loud to them from their Chromebooks.
The classroom set is shared among our team of over 100 students. Having headphones becomes a necessity for independent work. With these headphones, my students will be able to use the programs on their Chromebooks, take diagnostic testing, state testing, and complete assignments without having to have their computer sound turned on, disrupting other students in class. We are also running low on daily classroom supplies such as pencils, student dry erase markers and boards, tissues, and student fidgets. We could also use a few new white boards for small group teaching and to share daily messages with our students.
I know the students would appreciate having working headphones available to them when they are focusing on their work. Thank you so much for considering a donation to Mrs. Lindell’s classes.
